We’ve officially adopted a section of Cheek Rd and E Geer St near our offices as part of the NCDOT Adopt-a-Highway Program, and we’re excited to schedule our first cleanup! Join us on Earth Day (Monday, April 22nd) from noon to 2PM to clean up E Geer St from Cheek Rd to Tobacco Rd, and Cheek Rd from E Geer to Center St.
We will meet at our offices at 2011 Fay Street and split into groups. All supplies will be provided. This event is not recommended for volunteers under the age of 10. Please wear closed-toed shoes that are comfortable for walking, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and a small backpack for carrying personal items.
