Goat Patrol in Forest Hills Park
In an effort to combat foreign invasive plant species and beautify our local parks KDB explored the feasibility of using goats instead of machines or chemicals. In a trial run, Alix Bowman of “Goat Patrol” let the goats loose on a small section of “Kudzu Corner” at Forest Hills to see how the goats would do with kudzu growing well above their heads. As you can see from the pictures they seem to have enjoyed it no end.
