Join us for our first ever Litter Leaders Training!

**NOTE DATE HAS CHANGED TO MARCH 10**

Litter Leaders are volunteers that are committed to litter prevention in Durham and are willing to help join us in leading volunteer groups during cleanup events. Litter Leaders will be trained on volunteer management basics, litter cleanup safety, and cleanup operating procedures. Once you have received training we will provide monthly cleanup leadership opportunities for Litter Leader to sign up for.

Why should you be a litter leader?

Being a litter leader is a great way to:

• Gain practical leadership and environmental education experience as a leader of volunteer groups

• Get to know different organizations and meet the interesting caring people of our community

• Get to know new spots in Durham

• Spend time outdoors, making Durham look more beautiful

• Help expand the capacity of KDB to do more good
