Creek Week is a time to discover and clean up our local streams. It has been celebrated in Durham since 2009. To date, we have collected 210,989 pounds of litter with 4,808 volunteers.

Creek Week activities include things like water-themed trivia, hikes and paddle tours, informative presentations by City & County staff, and (of course) LITTER CLEANUPS!
