Tree Planting
We work with the City of Durham’s Urban Forestry Division to support their tree planting initiative and offer education and hands-on opportunities during the year. These opportunities provide participants with the tools and skills to plant and care for trees and the ability to leave a legacy for our communities.
Durham Bee CIty
Durham has been an officially recognized Bee City USA since 2016 for its commitment to creating sustainable habitats for pollinators, which are vital to feeding the planet.
Durham pollinator Gardens
Learn about some of the many pollinator gardens across Durham that support local birds, bees, and other pollinators so that they can pollinate gardens, crops, and wild plants throughout the Durham area.
KDB Pollinator Garden
Located at 902 N Magnum Street, The KDB Pollinator Garden supports local pollinators, especially our essential bees and butterflies.
Tree Keepers
Tree Keepers are volunteers who have accumulated the knowledge and skills to assist and serve a leadership role in volunteer tree planting and tree care activities
