Third Fork Creek Cleanup at Durham Public Works

Join KDB Litter Leader Courtney to clean up Third Fork Creek! For this pick-up, we'll be focusing on a Trash Island along Third Fork Creek. If folks are interested in pulling tires from the creek, then we can also excavate a Tire Cemetery near the Trash Island.

Date: Sunday, March 22

Time: 10am-12:30pm

Location: Public Works Parking Lot (1100 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Durham, NC 27707; Google Maps link)

Equipment: All trash grabbers, safety vests, gloves, and bags will be provided. We will also have muck boots and a couple pairs of waders. If you have waders or muck boots, please bring those along.

This trash clean-up is not suitable for kids ages 12 and under. All youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
