Join us for Harm Reduction Training 101 with Durham County Public Health Department, led by Morgan Culver, MSc. The training will be held virtually Zoom from 5-6:30PM on Wednesday, May 7th. You will receive the Zoom link the day prior to the event.

This event is considered extra training for our Litter Leader Volunteers, but all are welcome to attend.

This training will cover:

• What Harm Reduction is and why it’s a crucial public health intervention

• What the Opioid Epidemic is and how it has affected people in Durham and across the United States

• How to recognize an opioid overdose and respond with nasal naloxone

• How to handle sharps safely to prevent injury and disease transmission
