Every October, groups from across Durham volunteer to pick up litter in their local neighborhoods, parks, and streams.
This is Durham's largest litter cleanup event of the year, coordinated by Keep Durham Beautiful, City of Durham Stormwater Division, and Durham County Soil & Water Conservation District, with help from many other partners.
Participating volunteers will receive trash bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and vests. City of Durham Environmental & Street Services and Durham County Solid Waste assure that all collected litter is sent to the landfill.
