Join the “Cemetery Sweepers” to participate in a litter cleanup along Sandy Creek in Maplewood Cemetery (1621 Duke University Rd).
Volunteers will meet and park inside the Cemetery on the street that is closest to (and parallel to) Morehead Avenue (entrance on Chapel Hill Rd).
Gloves, safety vests, litter grabbers, and trash bags will be provided. Please help reduce waste by bringing your own reusable water bottle. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants, and dress for the weather. Supervised children aged 12 or over are welcome.
