Come out to Durham Central Park (501 Foster Street) on Saturday, June 13 from 9AM-12PM to kick off National Pollinator Week (June 22-26) with us! Learn all about our local pollinators, why they are important, and how you can help protect them. This will “bee” a free, family friendly event!
Durham Bee Day is an initiative of the Durham Bee City Committee.

See real bees in a demonstration hive
Taste honey
Meet beekepeers
Make a bee costume or bring your own and join a Bee Parade (Parade at 10:30AM)
Plant pollinator seeds to take home
Take home a free pollinator-friendly plant
Visit a pollinator garden
Learn about pollinator habitat conservation

We are also looking for environmental organizations to table at the event. Apply here to be considered. Please note that organizations attending the event will not be permitted to sell merchandise.
